Kaspersky Internet Security 2011

I remember last year at same period, I was testing KIS 2010. Now its time to try out KIS 2011!

First the GUI. Nothing much different but some sort of organized than previous.

All the options are categorized in easy to find manner. You'll get them where you look for them. Nice touch.

Some of advanced options are available in easy to reach order.

A very good improved feature is Safe Run mode which we can work with same system in a secured enviroment.

Although the interface or behavior not changed much, there's one thing that catches attention at once. The Kaspersky Gadget. A brand new features in 2011. (Windows 7 compatible) which provides easy access to scans, reports, safe mode, etc. It has 2 skins where you can choose as you desire.

And you can customize easy access items too.

That's quick glimpse of whats new in KIS 2011. Later I'll post a long review of features, functionality and whether you should by it over 2010. (Only if I have adequate time. )

Microsoft Kinect, iPhone 4 and more...

I was very busy playing GTA EFLC and I forgot to update this in few weeks. Anyway.... seen a crazy motor driving in Dubai road. Check out the link. Finally Microsoft Natal (XBox 360 Motion sensor device) got a name,  Microsoft Kinect.

Its rumored that HTC EVO is suffering from glass separation issues? Look at below what has happend to a little used unit.

iPhone 4 with its five megapixel camera still lags behind the eight megapixel cameras on devices such as the Droid Incredible and HTC EVO 4G in terms of raw resolution, and it includes just one LED flash bulb as opposed to two on the EVO 4G, Apple's inclusion of a backlit sensor has helped the product's low-light capture, and the included software makes use of the cameras in innovative ways.

MSI ships 17-inch GX740, complete with Core i7 and Radeon HD 5870.

Hoping for a new gaming laptop, are you? I'm sure you've already spent far too many hours browsing your options, but MSI's hoping that it can grab a moment of your time to demonstrate the merits of the GX740. This 17-inch beast measures a full 1.5-inches thick and weighs just over seven pounds, but all that heft nabs you a great deal of potency. Within, you'll find a 1.6GHz Core i7-720QM processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, DVD burner, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 GPU (1GB DDR5), gigabit Ethernet, WiFi and Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) running the show. The panel tops out at 1,680 x 1,050, but you will get an ExpressCard slot, a trio of USB sockets as well as VGA and HDMI outputs. If your mind has been made up, you can get this one headed your way now for the tidy sum of $1,399.99.

A hacker demonstrated HTC Touch Pro 2 into providing multitouch, other WinMo devices should be able too. iPhone 4 launch day at AT&T stores, awesome t-shirts confirmed. Cowon adds 32GB model to J3 media player lineup.

Microsoft says no more Windows XP on new netbooks after October 22, really. Woman calls tech support over Google PAC-MAN : ) Will BIOS be dead in 3 years? MSI will begin its shift over to UEFI by the end of the year, with the industry expected to follow over the next three years.
