Here's some cool gadget that monitor/display the status of emission in your car. The system is made up of two devices, a cartoon-like cloud that attaches to the vehicle's exhaust pipe and an iPhone app that monitors the vehicle's emissions. The more carbon the car spews, the more the cloud changes color so that both the driver and everyone in the nearby vicinity knows exactly how much pollution is being spewed into the atmosphere.

FOSS @ skaf Labs, success!!! End results are here.

Conversion of all the licensed software @ skaf Labs to freeware has been successfully completed. So far so good. And here are the software which currently I'm using and recommended for anyone on the search.

Right now I'm on the look out on alternatives for my last two remaining software. One is Windows 7 and the other is Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. : D : D : D I'm not planning to give up Windows and go open source yet, but I'm going after free alternative (maybe few together to get complete protection) for Kaspersky. Any suggestions, all are more than welcome.
