Mc-Intel-Afee ; )

Intel acquired McAfee Thursday. Cameron Diaz tops McAfee's most dangerous internet celebrity of the year followed by Julia Roberts and Jessica Biel. McAfee publishes a list of commonly searched athletes, actors, musicians or politicians that scammers are using to lure you to their sites.

Google releases Chrome web store developer preview. Developers can upload and test their apps created for upcoming Chrome OS here. Facebook Places is out now as an iPhone app but still US only. Power DVD 10 now supports 3D. 

Upcoming Nokia X3. Touch screen + keyboard, nicely designed.It has some cool colors planned out too.

Sony will replace handset wiring with a single copper cable for upcoming models soon. This will be a good news for mobile technicians. : )


FrostWire, the new app I'm using for my.... (thinking.....) let's say downloads. What I love is this has all the features of LimeWire Pro still this comes FREE!
 
Also  love its cool splash screens.


Am I going to replace Ares with this? NO! Why? This can't beat Ares's speed, features, light-weight app, huge network of virus free quality downloads.

I was (was???) a huge fan of GOM player for more than 2 years because of playback capabilities, easier to use interface and pleasant experience watching movies. Now this has a rival. KMPlayer.  Whats better? It has all the features I loved in GOM and +++. Hoooray. Can it beat GOM? Already done.


Also I loved it's iTunes like audio library browser. But for audio, I still recommend foobar2000.
